There are a few things I wanted to accomplish with the 'Hexapod' project. Firstly, As a fan of the 'Ghost in the Shell' anime and TV series, I've always loved the design of the 'Think Tanks'. I wanted to create my own robot based on these spider like machines. Secondly, I wanted to begin standardising my rigging methods, so that I could apply my methodology to any character, whether it be a bipedal humanoid or a hexapod. And thirdly, I wanted to experiment with root motion and see how this affected my animations.
